Wellness Exams

Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, any vaccinations needed, and a complimentary nail trim.

Dr. Edward McKaig, Dr. Elizabeth Patrick, Dr. Gina Eisenhauer, Dr. Jenna Fausett, and Dr. Kyle Krish will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to New Haven Pet Hospital for service.

Pet Medical History

Bring a copy of any medical history pertaining to your pet to your first appointment.

We recommend keeping a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including changes in behavior. The journal will help us to obtain an accurate history. Please share any information or updates with us.

Specialist Referrals

In some circumstances, Dr. McKaig, Dr. Patrick, Dr. Eisenhauer, Dr. Fausett, or Dr. Krish may refer your pet to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or advanced surgery.

Payments

Payment is expected when services are rendered.

In order to focus on our patients’ needs, provide top-notch customer service, and minimize costs, we do not bill.

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover®) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

Veterinary Financing Available

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, an unexpected expense strikes as well. New Haven Pet Hospital recommends CareCredit, veterinary care financing to assist you with the unanticipated costs of veterinary care.
