Digital X-Rays–Radiography
Digital radiology or x-rays are a valuable diagnostic tool for the detection of diseases and health issues your pet may be experiencing. It is ideal for the detection of:
- Arthritis
- Dislocations
- Bladder stones
- Foreign bodies
- Pneumonia
- Fractures
- Pregnancy
- Dental
All of the equipment is located onsite, which allows for rapid and accurate imaging for your pet. Our highly-trained staff is experienced in digital imaging techniques, and in the event of an advanced pet health concern, we consult with board certified specialists via telemedicine all from our convenient location.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
An electrocardiogram enables us to diagnose and treat cardiac issues your pet may be experiencing such as:
- Blockage
- Irregular heartbeats
- Heart murmurs
- Premature Ventricular Complex (PVCs)
The staff at New Haven Pet Hospital have been trained and qualified to use this non-invasive advanced imaging technology on your pet and determine the health of your companion. We recommend an ECG before all procedures requiring anesthesia. It provides valuable insight into the health of your pet, and allows us to adjust your pet’s anesthesia protocol, if necessary. If needed, we will consult with doctors specializing in cardiac care via telemedicine to ensure your pet receives proper veterinary care.
